These cell nanoparticles amplify the anti-inflammatory and healing properties of PRP through their facilitation of cell-to-cell communication. Cell nanoparticles may also be administered during many of our other services including:

Faqs

Skin rejuvenation is the process of introducing PRP into the skin tissue, enabling the body to use its own growth factors to repair, rejuvenate and restore tired skin. PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma that is derived from a client’s blood. This plasma is rich in proteins that support cell growth. PRP is routinely used to treat a range of health issues such as arthritis, joint and muscle injuries, torn tendons, and tendonitis. Because of its remarkable skin regenerative abilities, PRP is quickly becoming popular in the field of anti-aging medicine.

The first step in a PRP treatment is to separate the plasma from the red blood cells, a process we do by centrifuging a vial of your blood. This highly concentrated plasma is then injected into the skin using a very fine cannula or needle. Because the skin is pre-numbed, there is little discomfort during treatment. These small injections make it easy for the platelet-rich plasma to reach deep into the dermis. At this deeper level, the effectiveness of PRP is greatly optimized.

The body’s immediate response is to activate its immune and wound-healing process, stimulating the release of growth factors. The PRP immediately promotes healing and effortlessly stimulates collagen and elastin production. Depending on the area to be treated, the procedure takes less than an hour and produces noticeable results within a week or two, with skin improvements continuing over time. Clients may resume normal activity 24–48 hours after treatment.

Most commonly used as a facial treatment, PRP Skin Rejuvenation also improves skin on the neck, décolleté, or anywhere the skin needs a boost, such as arms, legs, chest, scars, or stretch marks. As a safe and natural alternative to under-eye filler, PRP is becoming a widely popular treatment to restore the delicate tissue under the eye.

In addition, at Aluma Wellness, we offer several PRP treatments that don’t involve the face at all (except to put a smile on it!). We use PRP quite successfully for hair restorationjoint pain, and tendonitis. Our Endura shot (aka the P-shot) for men and our V-shot for women are both ways PRP can treat various types of sexual dysfunction.

Skin rejuvenation with PRP offers amazing results that include:

  • Stimulating collagen production for tighter, thicker, and firmer skin
  • Shrinking pore size
  • Softening fine lines and deeper wrinkles
  • Amplifying the effects of microneedling
  • Non-surgical
  • Lightening dark spots and hyperpigmentation
  • Minimal to no downtime
  • Firming and smoothing skin texture
  • Reducing the appearance of broken capillaries and spider veins
  • Improving the appearance of acne and other scars
  • Softening stretch marks
  • Restoring fresher-looking skin

Because we pre-numb the skin, there is little to no discomfort. To make your experience more comfortable, we do offer ProNox™ which is a self-administered anxiety and pain relief system for patient use. ProNox™ uses a nitrous oxide delivery system that works in seconds and wears off quickly minutes after use.

For maximum improvement, we recommend a series of 3 to 6 treatments, each of which will augment collagen and elastin production, spaced 4-6 weeks apart. After an initial series of treatments, a maintenance regimen is recommended for long-term anti-aging and longevity benefits.
